Most everyone that served in the AP/SP/SF career field, be it Security, Law Enforcement, a bit of both or perhaps K9, corrections or whatever – have fond memories, lots of funny stories and memories of not so good times.
We all have one thing in common…. We served together and typically made lots of friends with a common bod between us all. Do you miss those laughs or just getting together and hanging out? If so, now’s your chance to do it again with your brothers and sisters.
The plan is to have one primary group composed of everyone plus several smaller groups in at least two locations – Spokane, WA and Coeur d-Alene, ID.
My name is James (Jim) Downey and i live in the CDA, Idaho area. I am a Life Member of the Air Force Security Forces Association (AFSFA) and Chairman Emeritus of the AFSFA Travis Bay Area Chapter. This is not an AFSFA recruitment effort but I would encourage to to join or renew your membership.
I will be coordinating the group(s). Many have expressed an interest and initially we will have 2 groups – one near Spokane and one near CDA. At first we will try and get a few together at a convenient place and time and whoever can make it, makes it. It may just be two people at first.
Over time I would envision these 2 groups meeting separately and perhaps once or twice a year, come together.
